The game starts with two cards dealt to each player and the dealer. The cards of the players are faced upwards but one dealer’s card is hidden. Once the cards are dealt, the player has the option of choosing hit, stand, double or sit. When a hit is chosen, another card is dealt to the player. If the player decides to stand, his turn comes to an end. If the total of the player’s cards in hand exceeds 21, it’s called a “bust”. If his count is 21, he wins and the dealer continues to hit until his score is 17 or more. When a player chooses double, his bet is doubled. In the case of a split, the player has two cards of the same value in which he splits the card in two hands with bet doubled.
